Zoiper5 for Windows, Mac and Linux

If necessary, download the free version of Zoiper5 and install it.
 

How to set up Zoiper5 for use with Redspot

 

  1. On the startup screen, enter the following
    • Username/Login: YourPhoneNo@voice.redspot.dk (e.g. 12345678@voice.redspot.dk)
    • Password: Your password from the welcome email.
  2. Click "Login". The screen displays "Fill in your hostname..." and below it displays "voice.redspot.dk".
  3. Click "Next". The screen displays "Optional".
  4. Click "Skip". The screen displays "Please wait" and should display a green bar and "Found" under SIP UDP. If not, check that you have activated your subscription via the welcome email and click "Back" to verify that the information on the previous screen is correct (go to step 1).
  5. Click "Next". The screen displays "Lets take a minute to configure your Zoiper5".
  6. Click "Configure" and follow the instructions to set up your speakers, microphone, etc.
You are now ready to make calls.
 

If you have previously installed Zoiper5

 

  1. Click on the gear wheel at the top right.
  2. Click on "Accounts" at the top.
  3. Click on the "Add" button at the bottom. The free version only allows you to have a single account and you must therefore delete any previously created account by clicking on it and then clicking on the trash can at the top right.
  4. Follow the instructions under "How to set up Zoiper5 for use with Redspot" above.
